Are you a skilled and experienced fire protection installer or do you have experience from similar assignment, and are passionate about your craft? Our client is looking for dedicated fitters to join an ambitious and crucial project in Kalundborg, where fire safety is the top priority. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks related to passive fire protection, utilizing your expertise in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cutting and fitting Conlit panels for fire protection, which will be installed and secured using welding nails and a nail gun. Previous experience with these materials is a plus but not required.
- Fireproofing steel structures with fire insulation to ensure proper protection against fire exposure.
- Sealing of installation penetrations, ensuring fire-resistant sealing of all necessary installations to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
- Fire sealing – a precise and crucial part of the fire protection work, ensuring that seals are completed correctly and in accordance with applicable standards.
- Fire painting of surfaces to increase fire resistance within the building.
- Sealing of installation shafts, ensuring all shafts are properly closed and fireproofed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in passive fire protection is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Experience with using lifts is a strong advantage, as much of the work will take place at heights. Therefore, it is essential that you are not afraid of heights.
- Preferably, you have a craftsmanship background, but this is not a requirement – the most important thing is your willingness to learn and your commitment to your work.
- You are a team player who can collaborate with colleagues across trades, while also being able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
